Within a circle, ‘sulṭān al-barrayn / wa khāqān al-baḥrayn / al-sulṭān ibn / al-sulṭān’ (‘The sultan of the two lands and the khaqan of the two seas, Sultan son of Sultan’ in Arabic). Rev. Within a circle, ‘Sulṭān Murād ibn / Salīm Khān ʿazza / naṣruhū ḍuriba fī / Miṣr sana / 988’ (‘Sultan Murad son of Salim Khan. May his victory be honoured. Struck in Misr, year 988’ in Arabic). Album 1332.2. Rare. The flan bent and straightened and with minor nicks, otherwise, very fine.
